Those who have read the foregoing pages will have found abundant evidence of this; and now I wish to emphasise it, by pointing out in a few words the SPECIAL ADAPTABILITY or oun SEVERAL REMEDIEs TO SPECIAL FORMS or H1.:MoPrYs1s. Casting aside, for the moment, the elaborate and minute questions of diagnosis and pathology, which have already been fully discussed, the special forms of haemoptysis and the remedies most suited to each may be clinically arranged under the following heads:--1. Profuse and dangerous cavernous hacmoptysis, from rupture of aneurisms formed on branches of the pulmonary artery, in the walls of cavities, and from ulcerative erosion of large vessels traversing cavities.
